Our half-day trip is the easiest way to taste the best of the Trogir archipelago when you would rather keep the other half of the day free. In about five hours on a comfortable speedboat you visit three islands: a long swim in the famous turquoise Blue Lagoon by Drvenik, free time in the stone harbour of Maslinica on Šolta, and a second, quieter swim in sheltered Branač Bay. The group stays small, up to twelve guests, and a local skipper picks the calmest, clearest spots and the right timing, so you simply relax, swim and take it all in. The boat leaves Trogir Riva at 10:00 and is back by 15:00.

Blue Lagoon or the Blue Cave, which one?
Different days entirely. The Blue Lagoon is five hours, shallow calm water, a 10:00 start, and suits children and anyone who wants to swim rather than travel. The Blue Cave is eleven and a half hours on a fast boat with a 07:00 start and open-sea crossings, for the sight rather than the swim. If you only have one day and small children, take the lagoon.
Do you pick up in Okrug or Medena for the half-day tour?
Yes, both, and Amadria too. Trogir boards at 10:00, Okrug and Medena between 10:05 and 10:10, and Amadria at 10:15. Pick your point when you book; it costs nothing extra and the crew confirms the exact minute the day before.
Is the Blue Lagoon crowded?
In July and August, yes, around midday: it is the best-known swimming spot near Trogir and every operator goes there. The tour anchors in the lagoon for about an hour and 45 minutes, so there is time to swim while the day boats come and go.
What should we bring on the half-day tour?
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen. Snorkelling gear and drinks are on board. The lagoon has a sandy bottom in shallow water, so you do not need water shoes, and there is nowhere to spend money, so you do not need cash.
How much time do you spend at the Blue Lagoon?
About an hour and 45 minutes anchored in the lagoon itself, the longest stop of the trip, so there is time for a proper swim and some snorkelling rather than a quick dip.
Where is the Blue Lagoon and how far is it from Trogir?
It sits in the shallows between Drvenik Veli and the islet of Krknjaši, a short speedboat run west of Trogir. You are in the water within about half an hour of leaving the Riva.
What time does the half-day tour leave and get back?
One departure a day: 10:00 from Trogir Riva, back on the Riva by 15:00. Boarding is at 10:00 in Trogir, between 10:05 and 10:10 in Okrug and at Medena, and at 10:15 at Amadria.
How much is the Blue Lagoon half-day tour?
€55 per adult, reduced from €60, and €50 for children 0–12, for about 5 hours. That includes the skipper, the speedboat, fuel and marina fees, drinks on board, snorkelling gear and insurance. Food and drinks ashore in Maslinica are extra.
How big is the group on the half-day tour?
A maximum of 12 guests on a comfortable speedboat, noticeably smaller than the big group boats, which is why the skipper can pick the quieter spots.

We’ve booked a tour twice this week with this company. We’ve met some great people who made both trips and incredible experience for us. On our first tour we went to blue lagoon, which was awesome and then to two beautiful islands. The second tour was even better as Duje, the driver, really took time to explain about diving and all different creatures that live at the beautiful shores we’ve visited. Duje also talked about living in the area and had some great suggestions for places and restaurants to visit. If we ever come back we’ll sure like to get back in touch with Duje or the people from this company because we have experienced two great days with them!
