Frequently asked questions
What should we bring on the Three Island Tour?
Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat and something light for your shoulders. Snorkelling gear is on board. Cash is worth having for a coffee in Maslinica, though nothing on the tour itself needs paying for. You do not need shoes you mind getting wet.
Is there a toilet on the boat?
Yes. It is a traditional wooden boat with a proper toilet on board, which is one of the practical reasons families pick it over a speedboat for a full day.
Can we book the Three Island Tour for tomorrow?
Usually yes, if there is space. The Three Island Tour is paid online at the moment of booking, so the seat is yours as soon as the payment goes through — no waiting for us to confirm. In August it does fill, so the same-day answer is sometimes no.
When is the best month for the Three Island Tour?
June and September. The sea is warm enough by mid-June and still warm through September, the boat is fuller in July and August, and the light is better either side of high summer. May and early October run but the water is cooler.
Is the Three Island Tour the same as the Fish Picnic?
Yes. It is the same full-day boat tour from Trogir — we renamed it Three Island Tour because the day is built around three island stops, but many guests still know it as the Fish Picnic. Same route, same grilled lunch on board, same crew.
Which islands does the Three Island Tour visit?
Three stops in one day: the Blue Lagoon by Drvenik for the first swim, the harbour village of Maslinica on Šolta for free time ashore, and sheltered Duga Bay for a final swim before heading home.
How much does the Three Island Tour cost?
€55 per adult, reduced from €60, €30 for children 5–12, and free for children under 5. Breakfast, a grilled lunch and drinks on board are all included in that price.
What food is included on the Three Island Tour?
Breakfast on board (donuts and juice), a freshly grilled lunch cooked on the boat, and drinks throughout — local wine, prosecco, water and soft drinks. Choose meat, fish or vegetarian when you book.
Can you pick us up in Okrug or Medena?
Yes. The boat calls at Trogir Riva at 09:00, Okrug at 09:20 and Medena at 09:45, so you can join from whichever is closest. Pick your point when you book; it costs nothing extra.
Is the Three Island Tour good for young children?
It is our most family-friendly day. Children under 5 travel free and 5–12 pay €30, the boat is large and stable, swimming stops are in calm shallow water, and lunch is cooked on board so nobody goes hungry waiting for a restaurant.
Three Island Tour or the Blue Lagoon half day — which should we pick?
Take the Three Island Tour if you want a full, unhurried day with lunch cooked on board and three stops. Take the Blue Lagoon half day if you only have half a day free or want a smaller boat — it is 5 hours, max 12 guests, and food ashore is on you.
How long is the Three Island Tour and when does it end?
A full day, about 7.5 hours. You leave Trogir at 09:00 and are back at the Riva by roughly 16:30.
Do we pay the whole price online?
No. A small booking deposit holds your place — €15 per adult and €10 per child, with under-5s free — and the balance is paid on the day. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure.

We’ve booked a tour twice this week with this company. We’ve met some great people who made both trips and incredible experience for us. On our first tour we went to blue lagoon, which was awesome and then to two beautiful islands. The second tour was even better as Duje, the driver, really took time to explain about diving and all different creatures that live at the beautiful shores we’ve visited. Duje also talked about living in the area and had some great suggestions for places and restaurants to visit. If we ever come back we’ll sure like to get back in touch with Duje or the people from this company because we have experienced two great days with them!
