Which tour for which age
- Three Island Tour, all ages. A full day but a gentle one: three easy swim stops, lunch on board, and the boat rarely leaves sight of land. The most forgiving option for a toddler having an off day.
- Blue Lagoon half day, all ages. Five hours, shallow and calm, and the shortest of the four if you are unsure how a small child will handle a full day at sea.
- Krka Waterfalls, all ages. Less boat time than the others; most of the day is spent walking wooden boardwalks through the park at your own pace, so it suits a child who is happier moving than sitting.
- Blue Cave tour, not recommended under 8. A long day on a fast speedboat with an early start and one committing open-water crossing. Under-5s are not permitted inside the cave itself, and the whole trip is built for a different pace than the other three.
What children pay
On the Three Island Tour, children 5 to 12 pay €30 against €55 for an adult, and children under 5 go free, meal included. On the Blue Lagoon half day, children 0 to 12 are €50 against €60 for an adult. On Krka, kids 7 to 17 and students are €65, and kids 0 to 6 are €40, against €75 for an adult. Life jackets and safety gear
Every boat carries child-sized life jackets, and the crew fits them before departure rather than handing over a pile and hoping. If you are booking for a baby or a very small child, mention the age when you book. It means the right size is already on board rather than something we have to work out on the dock while everyone else waits.
What is not on board
No high chair, no changing table, no bottle warmer. What there is: shade, a cabin on the larger boats to get out of the sun and wind, and a crew used to a full day with families and happy to slow down for a swim stop or a snack break. Bring what your baby or toddler actually needs; nothing on this list is something we can improvise on the water.
A day that goes a bit sideways
Small children do not always cooperate with a day plan, and the crew has seen every version of that.
